Trace Monotypes with Fal Trans Collective + Jay Caskie

£0.00

*** This is a free event but please book a ticket so I know how many are coming! And if you booked a ticket and can no longer make it please let me know so I can give your spot to someone else.

Join me and Falmouth Trans Collective at the Fish Factory for an evening of playful and collaborative printmaking!

We’ll be making trace monotypes with a focus on portraiture. We’ll be doing lots of quick drawings with a different partner and prompt each time (think ‘draw without looking at the page’, or ‘try and capture your partner in only 10 seconds’).

The focus will be on experimentation, creating silly and cool stuff with our hands, making new queer connections, and embracing the happy accidents that come with this kind of printmaking.

No pressure to draw the perfect portrait! At the end we’ll have a free time period to play with the materials and do our own drawings as well.

I’m looking forward to seeing what we create together :)

- Jay
