‘Beach Walks 2’ is an original wood engraving print from a limited edition of 100. Printed on a soft white Somerset Book paper using traditional oil based ink.
This print was inspired by my local beaches in Cornwall. I like sitting on the sand dunes and cliffs to get a birds eye view of the beach. The light of the sun turns the figures into silhouettes with long shadows behind them. I always enjoy seeing couples walking along the beach, with their dogs running ahead and exploring.
